Ming Chuan University Launches Biology Specialization in Secondary School Natural Sciences Teacher Education Program
In collaboration with the Department of Biotechnology, the Teacher Education Center at Ming Chuan University will introduce a new Biology Specialization within the Secondary School Natural Sciences Teacher Education Program starting from the 2026 academic year.
The program is designed and delivered by the Department of Biotechnology, integrating disciplinary knowledge with pedagogical training to strengthen students’ expertise in biological sciences and secondary education teaching competencies. This initiative aims to meet the growing demand for qualified natural science teachers in secondary education.
Through a well-structured and comprehensive curriculum, the program seeks to cultivate future educators who possess solid subject-matter knowledge, sound educational perspectives, and practical teaching skills, thereby preparing students for successful careers in secondary school education.
