Students from both universities led an academic seminar, where they presented their experimental results in English or Japanese and engaged in mutual discussions. In addition to touring the department’s facilities, the students organized ice-breaking activities, including making the department’s specialty rice-flavored shaved ice. They also invited the Japanese students to prepare traditional Taiwanese dessert ingredients like aiyu jelly, mango slices, and tapioca pearls.

In addition, the group also visited the National Biotechnology Research Park and Bioptic. We would like to express our gratitude to the Chairman of Bioptic for his enthusiastic guidance, which allowed the faculty and students to witness the company’s production line firsthand. The event concluded with a faculty seminar, where in-depth discussions took place. The entire academic exchange seminar was highly beneficial to all participants.
